• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
• Reading Records: Notes, quotes, page progress, reading timers, and entries you record.
• Diagnostic Data: Crash reports and operational logs to identify and fix technical issues.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and sync your reading journal and library across devices.
• To generate AI Companion discussions, recaps, and memory recall games based strictly on the books and notes you have logged up to your current page.
• We never sell your data or use your private reading entries to train foundation AI models.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data in transit is encrypted using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols. Your data is stored securely in modern, compliant cloud databases with strict row-level security ensuring only you have access to your private reading entries.

4. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You own your data. At any time within the Bookmarkt app, under Settings → Your data, you can:

• Export: Download a full copy of your library, notes, and reading sessions in JSON format.
• Delete Account: Permanently delete your user account and all associated reading entries, books, and sessions from our servers.
